The third album from Rage Against The Machine, The Battle of Los Angeles was released in 1999 and was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 43rd Annual Grammy Awards. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top 200, selling 420,000 copies its first week.
