Cohen’s first full concert release was recorded at London’s O2 Arena on July 17, 2008. The musician was driven to the 2008 tour after discovering his manager had swindled him of millions of dollars. Cohen’s humility and self-deprecating sense of humor is evident in the banter between the songs throughout the London performance.
